Hope Now

worst-case-scenarioSunday at Epic, we talked about the faithfulness of God and hope that we have now because of Him. Not hope tomorrow, not next week, but hope now. Below are all the”Hope Now” verses we passed out during communion.

“Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called” 1 Timothy 6:12

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing”
Zephaniah 3:17

“May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in Him. Them you’ll overflow with hope.” Romans 15:13

“I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future.” Jerehiam 29:11

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“Therefore we do not lose heart. THough outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For out light and momentary troubles are schieving for us an eternal glory that fat outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

“Don’t worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, beacuse I am your God. I will make you strong and will hlep you. I will support you.” Isaiah 41:10

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
Psalms 27:14

“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:8

“We know that God causes all things to work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

I’m going to read these everyday. I find so much strength and hope in them…and for me, most days it’s hard to find strength and hope.
